How embarrassing - I seem to have won my own competition again. Oh well - good news for the club as the £84 first prize will be added to the £10 I won earlier in the season and will go towards shares in the club. The full list of prize winners is:

Andy Chillman (1st place plus March bonus game) = £94
JonPot (2nd place) = £40
maxster (3rd place) = £10
Duffnut (September bonus game) = £20
Giles (October bonus game) = £10
cambsshot (December bonus game) = £20
Popcorn (February bonus game) = £20

There was no winner in the final bonus game (April) so the £10 will be held over and added to the kit sponsorship money for next season's competition.

As the highest placed finisher not called Andy Chillman, JonPot also wins free entry into next season's WAFFL Fantasy League.

Introduction

Welcome to the ShotsWeb Challenge 2007/2008.

Once again the Challengers this season will have the option of whether to play for free and for fun - or to pay an optional entry fee and play for cash prizes. For full details please see the rules section, but the major points are as follows:

Cost of entry to the full challenge is £10 for the season ($20 or €15 for overseas punters), approximately 80% of which will be paid out in cash prizes at the end of the season.
If you wish to enter the challenge without paying the £10.00 you may do so but you will not be eligible for any of the prizes.
If a non-paying member finishes in a prize-winning position they will be ignored for the purpose of prize payments - e.g. if a non-paying member finishes first over the course of the season then the top prize will be awarded to the highest-placed full member.
Non-paying members may pay their entry fee and switch to full membership at any time. Any points accumulated before payment may or may not be carried forward at my discretion.
Match forecasts must be submitted online and may be entered or updated any time until approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled kick-off time.
For cup matches etc. the score required is that at the end of the regulation 90 minutes - i.e extra-time does not count.

As well as the cash prizes, the highest-placed full member will also win free entry into the 2008/2009 season of W.A.F.F.L. (worth £25.00) which brings a chance to win over £200.00 in cash!

IMPORTANT: Once your request is received you will be allocated a four-digit confirmation code which will be e-mailed to the address supplied above along with instructions on how to complete your registration. Note that confirmation is a one-off process and you do not need to remember the confirmation code or use it again in future once your registration is complete.

Please note that your real name and e-mail address are required solely for internal purposes and will not be distributed to any third parties.

The Username may be your own real name or, if you wish to remain anonymous, a pseudonym of your choice. The following restrictions apply to Usernames and Passwords:

Your Username must be a maximum of 25 characters long.
Usernames may only contain alphanumerics (a-z and 0-9) or underscores.
Passwords must be a maximum of 10 characters.
Usernames deemed (by me) to be offensive will be rejected.
Both Username and password are case-sensitive - i.e. UserName is not the same as username.

IMPORTANT: We recommend that the username and password combination that you chose should be specific to WAFFL. Passwords are transmitted over the Internet in plain text - i.e. unencrypted - and, as such, there is a slight risk that they may be intercepted by hackers.

Specifically, we strongly recommend that you do not use any highly sensitive information such as Bank Account PINs etc. for your password.

Under no circumstances can WAFFL accept any responsibility for any loss or damage incurred through the misappropriation of your password.
