Loads-A-Money - The Game for True Champions (And Their Rich Friends)!
Using the same basic rules as the standard WAFFL, the Loads-A-Money Champions And All Their Mates League (LAM) is based on results in the UEFA Champions League.
As with the UEFA tournament itself, LAM is divided into two separate stages. In the initial league phase, teams are split into groups of four with each team playing all other teams within their group on a home and away basis. The group winners and runners-up then go on to contest the second stage of the competition which, again like it's UEFA counterpart, is contested on a two-legged knock-out basis. Cash prizes are awarded from the semi-finals onwards with the eventual champions picking up a first prize of £75.
Previously pay-to-play, starting from 2005/2006 season entry to LAM is by invitation only to the top teams from the previous season's WAFFL competition. For further details, please refer to the WAFFL section of this web-site.
