Important: WAFFL is completely independent of advertising - you won't find any banner adverts on the site, nor will you be plagued with pop-ups or inundated with junk-email. The downside to this is that most WAFFL competitions are strictly pay-to-play. If you are looking for a free game, I'm afraid you'll (probably) have to look elsewhere.
This summer sees the European Championships finals taking place in Austria and Switzerland - and this time England won't be there to ruin it for everyone. Hoorah! As usual I will be running a "Predict the score" competition and am now taking entries. For full details please follow the link on the left or click here.
The closing date for EC2008 entries is midday on Friday 6th June and entry will cost £20.00 ($40.00 or €25.00).
The WAFFL season kicks off on the same date as the English Premier League - which for the 2007/2008 season means Saturday 11th August - and runs the full course of the English League season.
The closing date for WAFFL entries is Saturday 4th August and entry for the season will cost £25.00 ($50.00 or €37.50).
I hope to accomodate everyone who registers but, if not, preference will be given to existing members followed by new members on a first-come-first served basis.
The ShotsWeb Challenge 2007 will kick off at the same time as the new Blue Square Conference Premier League season - Saturday 11th August - and will cover every competitive match played by the Shots over the course of the season. There is no closing date for entry - but people joining after the start of the season will obviously be at a disadvantage.
Entry for the season will cost £10.00 ($20.00 or €15.00) and a minimum of 20% of all entry fees will be donated to the Football Club in the form of sponsorship.
