Important Notice
On Saturday April 3rd the server where my website is hosted was the victim of an attack by malware hackers. As a result of this various parts of my site were tampered with in an attempt to affect my visitors with malware.
All of the bad stuff has now been removed – but anyone who accessed the site between Saturday 3rd and Tuesday 6th may potentially have been directly affected by this action.
If you did access the site during this period I strongly advise you to run a FULL anti-virus scan of your PC. I also strongly recommend that you download and install the free Malwarebytes Anti-Malware software from http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and then run a further FULL scan of your PC using that.
If either your anti-virus or the anti-malware software shows up any problems and you need further help, feel free to drop me an email and I’ll do what I can to assist.

World Cup 2010 – Let’s get this party started!
OK – the first matches are now barely 5 months away and it’s time to start up the World Cup hype machine. We all have to do our part – so I’m doing mine by opening up the World Cup Challenge 2010 for registrations. Woo-hoo! Entry costs a mere twenty quid and I also accept payment in Euros, US Dollars, Green Shield Stamps and shiny coloured glass beads. You can register here – but only if you really want to! If any of your mates have more money than sense feel free to invite them along.
I can’t wait to see the Ingerlund squad on Top Of The Pops singing their fab(io) World Cup song !
p.s. – If you have any problems registering (or with other areas of the site) please email me using the links on the web-site or reply to this post.
It’s coming home to South Africa ……..
That’s right – the preliminaries are over, the ridiculously elaborate draw has been made and the wallcharts have been prepared (unless you’re a total slacker). Now it’s time to start the countdown in earnest!
Between June 11th and July 11th next year a total of 64 matches will be played during the World Cup Finals in South Africa. Some of the best footballing nations in the World will be there – and so will England! Your challenge, should you choose to accept, is to forecast the correct score in all 64 matches. Piece of cake I’d say – but even if you don’t manage to get all 64 matches spot on you’ll still earn points for getting close.
Usual rules apply – and it’s all strictly pay-to-play. In 2006 we had 39 mugs and the top prize went to Dave Pierce – so there’s hope for us all!
Registrations will be open soon – or you can email me to pre-register if the excitement’s all too much for you!
Don’t be a World Cup Willy – get yourself registered today, safe in the knowledge that the competition will still hold some interest for you even after Ingerlund have succumbed on penalties to a bunch of cheating dago foreigners! Where else could you have this much fun for a mere twenty quid without getting arrested?
‘Ere we go, ‘ere we go, ‘ere we go!
Site updates 26/27 September
I thought I’d better warn people that I will be making some fairly major changes to my web-site at the weekend (probably either Saturday evening or Sunday morning). These changes are to the structure of the site rather than the content or basic appearance so *should* be pretty much invisible to you – but there is always a possibility that some parts of the site may not work properly afterwards.
If you have any problems accessing the site feel free to email me on this address.
Welcome!
